ITD Dentistry Practice Session Features:
Fully Equipped Practice Centre:
ITD Dentistry Practice Centre is equipped with fully powered with A-Dec® dental simulators fitted with manikin heads and typodonts. Each ITD Student is assigned a work-station that includes a standard dental compressed air connection, appropriate water source, dental suction, lighting and storage. Students receive access to an Office, WIFI, and a Kitchenette.
ITD Instructor Interaction:
Meet and interact regularly with an ITD Dentistry Instructor, a NDECC™ graduate, to review the NDEB protocol requirements, treatment approaches, dental armamentarium, technique strategies, and best practices, to the Clinical Exercises. Have your questions and concerns addressed with scheduled sessions with the Instructor
ITD Instructor-Led Demos and Lectures:
Weekly ITD Instructor-Led Lecture and Demo allows ITD Students to watch and hear a Qualified Dentist’s observations, approach, strategy, choice of tools, and time management decisions, when completing a Sample Exam Exercise. See Clinical skills being applied, up close, and heard about best practices in real time.
50-Minute One-on-One Work check:
Receive a personal one-on-one check of the work you have completed each week. The ITD Instructor will review your progress, point to errors and omissions, determine if you have achieved a solution withing the published protocol, and review your approach and time management.
Weekly Meeting with ITD Practice Centre Principal Dr. Ankur Rampal
Meet weekly Dr. Ankur Rampal to ask questions and seek advice about the exam process, receive career guidance, and gain insights from a practising Dentist in Canada. Dr Rampal is an Internationally Trained Dentist who has completed the NEDB Requirements and now runs a successful Dental Practice in Brampton, Ontario.
ITD Dentistry Lecture and Demo Library:
Registered ITD Students receive access prerecorded list of lectures and demos of exercises that directly relate the Clinical Skills tested on during the NCECCTM Examination. Students may access the ITD Dentistry Lecture and Demo Library any time they are at the Practice Centre to supplement self-paced learning, honing skills, and working on clinical projects independently.
